Below are the answers to several questions you may have
before your child’s first visit to our office.
1What should I bring on our first visit?

Please bring your insurance card and the completed First Visit Packet.

2Do you accept insurance?

We accept most insurance plans, and as a courtesy, we will submit your insurance claim for you.

Your insurance plan determines your deductible and any co-pay amounts, as well as the amount of allowable coverage. Any amount not covered by your insurance will be due at the time of your visit. If payment is not met in full at the time of service, a statement will be sent to you and will reflect a service fee.

Dental insurance is a contract between you, your employer and the insurance company. We are not a party to that contract. However, we will make every effort to help you understand your coverage and ensure you receive maximum benefits.

3What can I expect to pay for my child’s visit?

We would be happy to discuss fees and insurance coverage with patients prior to their first visit. Please call us for more information.

4My child may be nervous. How can you help?

It is quite normal for children to be anxious about their first visit to the dentist. Pediatric dentists have special training to help children feel safe and comfortable during treatment. Our office is designed to make children feel at ease. During most treatments, children can watch a movie on a ceiling-mounted monitor. In addition, our friendly and compassionate staff enjoys working with children and makes them feel right at home.

5We have more than one child and scheduling is important to us. Do you run on time and will you see all my children at once?

Seeing several children in one family at the same time is never a problem for our staff. We know that our patients and their families are busy, and we do our best to stay on schedule at all times.
